Becky McCarthy
I am Mrs. Becky McCarthy an orthopaedic physiotherapist specialising in hip and knee conditions and post-surgery rehabilitation. Born to Irish-English parents and raised in the vibrant culture of Spain, I bring a unique blend of expertise and empathy to my practice.
My inspiration to pursue a career in physiotherapy came from a transformative experience recovering from a basketball injury, guided by an exceptional physiotherapist. I earned my degree from the University of Valencia and further enriched my skills at St George’s Hospital in London one of the UK’s largest teaching hospitals and New Victoria Hospital in Wimbledon, internationally renowned for its excellence in orthopaedic surgery.
Today, I lead a dedicated team of physiotherapists, offering specialised home and outpatient services focused on orthopaedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation for seniors and those in postoperative recovery phases.
My primary focus lies in lower limb rehabilitation, particularly for patients who have undergone hip and knee surgeries. Through tailored and effective treatment strategies, my aim is to help my patients regain functionality and achieve optimal quality of life.
