Dr. Fernando Corbí Aguirre
I am Dr. Fernando Corbí, currently leading the orthopaedic surgery unit at Hospital Vithas 9 de Octubre in Valencia. My practice specialises in areas that become increasingly important as we age, such as hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy surgeries, and sports-related injuries.
My journey into this field began with a meniscus tear when I was 16, captivated by a doctor’s insights into the body’s incredible ability to heal. This inspired me to pursue my medical specialisation at the University of Navarra, one of Spain’s top medical schools follow by an intensive five-year training programme in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology at Manacor Hospital in Mallorca.
Committed to mastering my field, I continue refining my skills at globally renowned centres like the Albert Trillat FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence in France and at the HSS, Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, learning from the world’s leading orthopaedic surgeons.
My primary goal is to enhance your well-being and restore your ability to move freely. While traditional methods like joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery are often effective, I’m also committed to exploring innovative treatments. These include ultrasound techniques and bioregenerative therapies that leverage the body’s innate ability to heal.
